Neighbour's smoke alarm is going off for three hours (I went out for dinner). By midnight, still no sign. Credit card won't open just any lock. Firemen come. Leave through window. Paranoid neighbour keeps window barred and locked. Result: firemen ax through neighbour's door and shut off defective smoke alarm. Cooool.

   An analysis of the game, by yours truly:

       ~~~How to win at Mafia~~~
One of the most important aspects of the game is to read people's faces and actions. Here are some common facial expressions and actions, and what they mean. Keep in mind, however, that many established Mafia players know these expressions, and may use them to trick others.
1. The "What's My Card" Action
Can mean several things:
a. Player is new, doesn't know anything yet.
b. Player had a different card in the last round.
c. Most notable done by Eugene, the Player does this every time so that no one can use point b. to establish the Player's identity.
2. The "Talking on the Phone" Action
means: Player has regular civilian card. Loses interest in round.
 3. The "Weird" Look
Very unpredictable. Expect anything. Notably done by Buggsy, see picture to the right.
4. The Drinkers
Pay attention to slip-ups.
   5. The Special Bonds
Could be masons, meaning they are harmless. Be careful, however, when accusing one of them. The other one will have a hard time believing you, even if the bonds have nothing to do with the game.
   6. The "Side Talks"
Once again, could be masons. Usually aren't mafia members, for reasons of it being too obvious. If possible, try to listen to their conversation. Studies show that people reveal their character identities most frequently during Side Talks.
   7. "Defense"
Being overly defensive can be an indicator of a Mafia member.
 8. Quiet Attention
Usually a Mafia member.
  9. Anger
A Defense action commonly used by Mafia members, especially when accusations made against them are not based on anything logical (e.g. He just looks like he's in the mafia) but accidentally happen to be correct.
   10. The Suspicious Look
Also very ambiguous. Player probably already  formed suspicions and is receiving more evidence against you (advice: shut up). However, Player could just as easily be a Mafia member. The Suspicious Look, in fact, has been shown in many studies to be one of the first looks used by new players to hide their Mafia characters.
The First Meal of 2006: ~~~Lobster~~~
Stage 1: If you look closely, the creature, just moments ago having been brutally boiled alive, still has a glimmer in its eye where its tortured soul is trapped.
Stage 2: Rip the lobster into pieces with your bare hands.
Stage 3: The finished product, with a touch of salt and butter, doesn't even remotely resemble that scarlet creature of the sea.
