Happy Birthday, Buggsy!
But first, volleyball. Thanks for coming, guys, it was a lot of fun! 6 on 6, not bad.
Too bad the ball deflated...
|

Setting up the net is always fun.
|

Props to the sunny and not favored by the wind side, for putting up a good fight despite the twisted fate.

Anyone up for volleyball again next Saturday? |

Interesting story...
Not sure how true it is, don't know the sources, except for Mike, but I don't know what his sources are. But having said that, after we left the beach and had dinner on Brighton, Buggsy's friend Mike called to tell us that there was some kind of commotion on the beach.
We went over to check it out. There were fire trucks and rescue boats and divers and a helicopter. Everyone was saying that someone had drowned.
We did some asking around, and turns out that these people were swimming, some girls, a guy, and suddenly one of them turns around and the guy is missing. So they called in, and everyone started seaching for the guy.
Then the guy appeared out of nowhere, came up to his friends and said what's all the commotion about?
|
And later.... Buggsy celebrates his 24th birthday at Estelle, a nice little lounge in the Sheepshead Bay area in Brooklyn, with REALLY bad music (save a few songs that we had to beg for). And the music was INSANELY loud. I am suddenly confused on what a lounge is supposed to be. When they first became popular, I recall background music, couches, even boardgames in some. Now they are turning into mini-clubs. Anyway, enough ranting, I had fun. And it only cost me and Adrian two massive headaches the next day.

Again, the minefield.

Three vodkas, three waters, and one very drunk Bug.

B52, I believe it is. Don't use a straw, you sissy, drink that fire-rimmed shot like a man!

This is Mike. You all know him. He's the guy who heard someone smile during the night in mafia!

And always, dancing. |
